Making Strides For Autism is not a place to hide people with autism away from the public. People with autism and their families deserve every daily right and privilege that everyone else receive. We use our outings to not only help our families build self-confidence and acquire new Life Skills, but to also integrate our families into everyday society.
We believe that the more the community come into contact with our families, the more comfortable they will be with them. The more comfortable they are with them, the more likely they are to be seen for their humanity and not their disabilities. These outings are more than just fun outings. They're growing experiences that improve the quality of life.

We host periodic family outings throughout the year to help autism families and autistic adults feel more comfortable in public settings. Our fun-filled excursions provide a safe, supportive way to enjoy local attractions, amusement parks, and help promote autism awareness throughout the community.
