Autism Awareness Month Fundraiser
World Autism Awareness Day is Monday, April 2, 2018, and April is Autism Awareness Month! Support our Friends With Autism T-Shirt Fundraiser!
We’re getting excited as we prepare for the celebration at our 3rd Annual World Autism Awareness Kickoff on Sunday, April 8, 2018, and the various activities rolling out in April.
In support of all families and adults on the autism spectrum in our region we’re asking everyone to wear our Friends With Autism Initiative T-Shirts to school, work, out in the community, and/or on Sunday, April 8th at the 3rd Annual World Autism Awareness Kickoff.

We're kicking off our T-shirt Fundraiser to raise the funding needed to provide FREE Sensory Bags to autism families and adults on the spectrum. Our Sensory Bags will help those that may have sensory processing challenges to get out more and enjoy our community. As well as create paid jobs for adults on the spectrum and women veterans in Northeast Florida. Our bags will be assembled/shipped by adults on the spectrum and the weighted lap pads are handmade by women veterans. In addition, we’re also seeking businesses to sponsor sensory bags for families.
Orders will be open from Saturday, March 3rd until Sunday, April 1st. Pickup will be Tuesday, April 3 at our office through Sunday, April 8 at the World Autism Awareness Kickoff at Riverside Arts Market/Northbank Riverwalk. Sizes will run from youth XS up to Adult 3XL. $15 per t-shirt, additional $2.50 for 2X and 3X. We can send invoices via PayPal if needed! Shipping charges will apply for out of town supporters!!!
